because raising a large family isn’t for the faint-hearted

Happy New Year 2018

Happy New Year Everyone!

Today is the 1st January 2018 and my New Year’s resolution is to actually start blogging.

I’ve just finished a lovely New Years Dinner and had some wine so I’m feeling a little light-headed as I don’t usually drink!

I’m determined to make this year a better year than last year. 2017 was a difficult year as we dealt with my son’s mental health, my own mental health and an unscrupulous dealer, so whilst 2017 ended better I’m determined to carry on seeing the improvements carry on into this year!

This morning, my youngest and I went to watch the crazy people who took part in the annual New Years Dip in aid of the RNLI and helped raised over £1,000 for our local station. We even bumped into granddad and his dog and grandad treated Reese to a bacon butty (which daddy finished off when she got home).

So Happy New Year to you all, I hope 2018 is your year to shine!
